Job Description:

Dupree Plumbing expects this individual to be of the upmost professional, leading by example and setting the high standard in craftmanship plumbing and service that will continue to elevate Dupree Plumbing to the next level of success. Essential Functions: Management: Manage and control labor costs through effective scheduling, job/ material preparation and setting expectations for labor efficiencies. Drive core values of Dupree Plumbing by emulating those qualities. Oversee/obtain compliance e.g. state business licenses, workers compensation procedure, plumbing licenses, plumbing inspections and permits and Sub-vendor packets. Follow corporate staffing and retention processes and procedures set forth by the HR Manager. Oversee/ensure Corporate payroll and PTO policies are followed and tracked accordingly. Interview potential employees and sub crews to ensure they meet Dupree Plumbing’s standards for excellence. Manage office and field personnel to ensure daily tasks are being completed as assigned, issues and concerns are taken care of in a timely manner and employee disputes are handled appropriately and consistently. Oversee/review/approve PO/work order entry for accuracy into Master Builder. Oversee Area Managers to ensure check lists are completed on time and accurate to initiate invoicing. Responsible for managing employee relations including employee reviews as outlined by HR protocol. Provide updated scorecard numbers via e-mail to Leadership team weekly before Level 10 meeting. Inventory: Oversee/Manage monthly inventory levels to match the current work load. Oversee/Manage inventory for loss prevention and cost control. Manage/Oversee daily pulling of material per job to ensure no excess material is dispersed to Subs. Incorporate Corporate Truck Stock policy and procedures to ensure job cost accuracy and loss prevention. Oversee execution of corporate policy/procedures for defective material and excess inventory returns/credits. Business Development: Communicate all proposal’s and bids needed to Home Office Estimator in a timely manner ensuring the proper information is communicated to complete the bid effectively and efficiently. Maintain relationships with current builders by handling quality control issues in a timely and professional manner ensuring their issues and concerns are taken care of. Acts as liaison for new business communications between corporate and the branch location. Requirements: A self-motivated proven leader that can lead with integrity, passion and purpose. Strong ability to develop a dedicated team focused on executables and end results. The ability to drive exemplary service and workmanship through ongoing training and development for yourself and your team. A trustworthy individual with an established track record of being organized, a strong communicator, excels at problem solving and who is dedicated to the overall vision of the organization while leading by example. Must have a thorough knowledge of underground, rough, final and warranty plumbing. Must be familiar with a variety of the plumbing industry concepts, practices and procedures. Excellent communication skills Prior Management experience a plus Preferred Education and Experience: Licensed Plumber a must, Master Plumber preferred. Proficient in basic computer skills including Microsoft office suite a must.
